More than £1,000 was raised during a recent Victorian Christmas Market at Mansfield’s Queen Elizabeth’s Academy.

Staff and students wore authentic period costume during the event, which featured a variety of jewellery stands, cakes, mulled win and handmade Christmas gifts.

The festive fun, which attracted around 350 visitors, also featured a choir made of up people from Queen Elizabeth’s, Farmilo Primary and the Mansfield Choral Society.
