Masked man robs Eastwood bookmakers and escapes in Subaru

Police want to speak to anyone who saw a green Subaru Foresterin the Eastwood area after a robbery at a bookmakers on Monday, June 20.

The vehicle (a similar car is pictured) was used after a robbery which took place at Mark Jarvis Bookmakers, in Nottingham Road, Eastwood, at just after 5pm.

A masked man threatened staff and demanded cash from the tills and gaming machines.

He fled with money in the stolen two-tone Subaru which was found in Moorfields Avenue, Eastwood, the following day.

No one was injured.

Detectives are appealing to anyone with information about the robbery or the stolen vehicle — specifically where it was being stored between the time it was stolen on Saturday 21 May 2016 and the robbery on Monday 20 June 2016.
