Men due in court following Hucknall street robbery

Two men arrested following reports of a street robbery in Roman Crescent in Hucknall are due in court today.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to reports that a man had been threatened with a knife and had his phone and trainers stolen at around 6.20pm on Sunday, November 11.

Owen Lewis, 18, and Macaulay Johnson, 19, both of Kenbrook Road in Hucknall were arrested in the early hours the following day.

Lewis was charged with robbery and Johnson was charged with robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent and possession of a bladed instrument.

They’re due before Nottingham Magistrates today.
