WONDER dog Millie provided the crowning glory of a day of Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Bulwell’s Hempshill Hall Primary School.
Millie who, fittingly, is a corgi, the Queen’s favourite breed, wowed youngsters with four performances packed with agility and obedience.
Youngsters also wore crowns and red, white and blue items for a Jubilee party.
Grenville and Elaine Morley, of Watnall, who own Millie, paid tribute to the children’s “exceptional” behaviour during the dog’s performances.
Head teacher Helen Ridge responded by saying: “Our Jubilee celebrations were enriched by this wonderful dog.
“Millie’s performance certainly deserved a ‘doggy Oscar’. We are grateful for her visit.”
