A three-year-old marmoset named Mojo has been treated at the West Street premises after her owners took the tiny monkey to Buckley House after an unsuccessful attempt to raise her as a pet.

Vet Jon Hadley said Mojo was found to be suffering from rickets. She had responded well to treatment but may have a permanent limp. “She is a delightful little character,” said Jon.

With consent from the owners, Mojo will now be re-housed at Monkey World rescue centre in Dorset.
