Mystery over Hucknall’s missing dog bin answered

The bin was sitednear a popular walking spot near the bridge and was well used.

This week the area has been taped and coned off but dog-owners are continuing to deposit their poop bags at the site which have already been removed once but continue to pile up.

“The bin has been removed due to vandalism,” said a council spokesman. “A new bin is currently on order and will be fitted as soon as it arrives.

“The council has cleared the bags that were left in the area and are continuing to do so until the replacement bin arrives.”
