New car park in Sutton centre tomorrow
A new car park on the former market site in Sutton will be available for public use from Wednesday, 28 October as part of regeneration works in Sutton Town Centre.
The car park will initially be free to use by the public and during the busy Christmas shopping period, with charges on the site in early 2016.
This parking boost will provide 47 short stay car parking spaces as part of the regeneration of the town, following the successful relocation of the outdoor market to Portland Square.

Deputy Leader at Ashfield District Council, Councillor Don Davis said: “This is great news for the people of Sutton who will benefit from additional parking in the town centre and the ongoing regeneration of the area.”
