Following an invitation from Paddy Tipping, The Police And Crime Commissioner, friends Artie Bowen and Paul Sear set up friends of Meden Vale. Paul Said “We set up a Facebook page called Friends of Budby Crescent in June but had requests from all over the village to change the name to Friends Of Meden Vale.
After only a few months we have households join us from a quarter of the village.”
Six signs have gone up and a newsletter will go out in the next few weeks to along with a window sticker for every household”.
Artie added: “Its been great, people are enthusiastic and are helping each other out. There’s a real sense of community now.”
