New model for treating substance misuse

The results-focused strategy is based on the recovery principles outlined in the National Drug Strategy.

It follows a principle of recovery after dependency has been addressed and encourages people back into work afterwards, combining clinical and non-clinical settings.

Separate contracts have also been awarded to provide substance misuse services for children and young people across Nottinghamshire, and obesity and weight management services for adults, children and young people as part of the same tender process by Notinghamshire CFounty Council.
