Susan Bowler, Executive Director of Nursing and Quality, said: “There is some excellent work being undertaken by our nurses and midwives here at Sherwood Forest Hospitals and we would be proud to see this recognised through these awards.

“This is a great opportunity to be able to celebrate that work and recognise our staff for their commitment and care, particularly at a time when the trust has experienced a number of challenges.

“As nurses and midwives we are the profession that is often with patients at their most vulnerable time, like the middle of the night, and we always aim to deliver high quality compassionate care, which help the patients on their road to recovery.

Nominations can be madeby completing an online nomination form available on our website http://www.sfh-tr.nhs.uk
