Notts football fans charged with group fighting after violence

Seventeen man from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire have been charged with violent disorder crimes.

The men, who are now named and come form across areas around Nottingham and Derby are each given one charge of affray - group fighting in a public place that disturbs the peace.

The men, all fans of either Nottingham Forest FC and Notts County FC, are alleged to have been involved in a group fight at The Major Oak pub in Pelham Street on Saturday March 19, after both their teams lost respective matche son the day.

They were arrested in an orchestrated operation of early morning raids in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire yesterday (Tuesday, May 10).

They are:
