Ollerton man admits theft and receiving

James Harvey, 19 pleaded guilty to receiving stolen goods and theft when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Harvey, of Tillys Flats, was caught on CCTV stealing DVDs from Tesco, New Ollerton.

He also admitted receiving a brick hammer worth £6.50 and a watch which had been stolen from Boyes stores.

Harvey, who appeared in custody also admitted being in breach of a conditional discharge for theft in April 2014.

Adjourning the case for reports, District Judge Diane Baker said Harvey had a bad record of dishonesty. He was given conditional bail.
