Animal welfare: Bones threat to pets

May I, through your newspaper ,ask people not to throw chicken bones and chop bones onto the street.

Our two dogs in the recent past have been unlucky enough to have picked them up on occasions.

Several years ago, our Brin, a black Alsatian had to be rushed to the vet to remove, albeit a piece of wood lodged in his throat.

It could so easily have been a bone and those kind of bones can be very sharp and cause a lot of damage internally. Please have a thought for our pets.
