LETTER: Submit strike book for assessment

Being as Harry Patterson’s book “Look Back in Anger” apparently tells the absolute truth about the 1984-85 Miners’ Strike in Nottinghamshire instead of the misplaced views of the establishment and “scab apologia”(Chad letters 7th May 2014), there should be no problem in submitting it to a Higher Education establishment for a full and thorough assessment by experts in that field of study i.e. historical industrial relations and labour history.

Then it can be deemed to have given an accurate and fair reflection of the events in the Nottinghamshire Coalfield during the 1984-85 dispute and significantly added something to the debate on the subject.
