Papplewick resident threatened by three balaclava-wearing men who smashed their way into home

THREE men wearing balaclavas threatened a Papplewick resident outside his home before smashing their way through the front door.

The suspects, one of whom was wearing a red top and dark trousers, were outside the house in Moor Road just before 9.30pm on Monday 22 April when the owners returned home.

The owner was threatened by the offenders, but quickly drove away. The men smashed through the front door of the house.

The offenders are then believed to have driven away in a dark coloured Vauxhall Corsa in the direction of Bestwood village.

A quantity of cannabis was located as a result of a search at the property.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis.
