Ollie, who was supported towards his London 2012 Paralympic medal haul by OASIS (Olympians from Ashfield Support in Sport), will set off the first leg of the event after a fun warm up at Ashfield School in Kirkby on 14th April at around 10am.

The challenge is made up of Tri 1 which will follow the warm up and is a challenge to walk, run or wheelchair a mile or more. Tri 2 challenges people to bring their bike and cycle up to five miles.

People can register on the day for £5 per entrant from 9am to 9.45am to take part in the Tri 1 or 2. All entry fees will be donated to OASIS.

The swim event will take place at Sutton’s Lammas leisure centre in the afternoon and is for pre-registered participants.

A clothing collection by the Star Foundation will also take place in the Ashfield School car park with all proceeds being invested back into community sport and free swimming.

Unwanted items should be bagged up and taken to the Star Foundation van.

Carol Hallam, Sports Development Officer at Ashfield District Council, said: “We are challenging as many people as possible to take part. It’s a fun way to exercise at your own pace and everyone who completes each challenge will receive a medal.”
