Fourth man charged for firearm offences in Bulwell after two men were shot

A fourth man has been charged with firearm offences after the shooting of two men in the Bulwell and Top Valley area.

Delaney Crampton, 26, of Top Valley has been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life, conspiracy to commit robbery, obstructing police and possession of class B drugs.

He was arrested on the September 11, and has remained on bail.

He was due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 11.

The charges relate to an incident on June 16, when two men were taken to hospital for treatment for single gunshot wounds to their legs after Nottinghamshire Police was called to Hucknall Road.

Both men have since been discharged from hospital.

And Meshach Jackson, 18 of Ranskill Gardens in Top Valley and Cavan Barratt, 18, of Blossomfield, Brookside in Telford, formerly of Winscale Gardens, Top Valley have also both been charged with possession of a firearm and assisting an offender.

Both 18-year-olds were arrested on July 7, and remained on bail.

They are both now due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on January 15, 2021.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Fabian Wilson of Thornbury Way in Top Valley was charged earlier in the year with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This is an ongoing, complex investigation involving multiple suspects.

"Our enquiries are continuing.

“We want to speak to anybody who may have additional information about this incident.

"We are pleased to now have charged four men with firearms offences.

“Nottinghamshire Police takes the use of illegal firearms extremely seriously and local people can rest assured that we will leave no stone unturned in this investigation.
