New Bulwell cafe will offer work opportunities to adults with additional needs

A community project that provides learning for Nottinghamshire adults aged 19 and older with learning difficulties or disabilities is opening a new Alice in Wonderland-themed café and gift shop in Bulwell.

LIFE had been based in Bulwell for a number of years and has recently moved to new premises in the former Springfield Medical Centre building on Main Street.

The new cafe and gift shop will offer work opportunities to their service users.

The new cafe is housed in the former Springfield Medical Centre building on Main Street in Bulwell

The official launch day is on Saturday, July 2 where there will be Mad Hatters on stilts, an Alice in Wonderland bubble blower, a graffiti wall, a busker and a fire dancer, as well as stalls.

The café will be officially opened by Bulwell MP Alex Norris at 1pm.
