New Poundland opening in Bulwell

The new branch at the Springfield Retail Park will open its doors on Saturday, August 29, creating 24 new jobs and the 7,500 sq ft store will complement the existing store in Main Street, Bulwell.

The store is also one of more than 60 to include the full range of chilled and frozen food as part of Project Diamond.

Austin Cooke, Poundland retail director, said: “We’re very excited to be opening in Bulwell and especially because the new store will include our full chilled and frozen food range which has got a sizzling reception at the stores that have got it so far.”
