“We have been working all the way through lockdown to hep families and have also hand delivered over 3,000 activity packs to help keep children entertained.

"At the moment we are using my small car to make deliveries and some local businesses including South Electrical, Lindrick Construction and Now Church in Langold, have been kind enough to loan us vans on a weekend to make deliveries but we are at a stage where we could really do with our own van to help as many families as we need too.

"Fundraising has been so hard during the pandemic with events being cancelled so we are asking residents to get involved and do sponsored events to help us raise money for a van. We would also if anybody knows any businesses who have a fleet of vans, who are upgrading or an individual who is selling a suitable van to contact us.”

As well as support from local businesses with transport hire the team at the charity has also had a helping hand from Asda, Tesco and Morrisons to help provide the community with food parcels and sanitary items.
