The new-look state-of-the-art store will focus on meal ideas, healthy, fresh foods and essentials. It has been redesigned to make it easy and enjoyable for shoppers to pick up all the ingredients necessary to produce fantastic food, with ideas and tips on every aisle.

There will be a brand new in-store bakery as well as extended ranges of fresh produce, ready meals and pizzas.

The store will also be a hub of the community, with information about local events, and details about how groups can benefit from The Co-operative Membership’s Community Fund, which distributes monies to support for local good causes.

Joanne O’Neil, Store Manager at the Pinxton store, said: “I’m excited about welcoming customers into the new-look store, which will offer a completely different shopping experience. We know our customers lead busy professional and personal lives, and I’m confident that the new store will provide them with exactly what they need to pick up delicious food conveniently.

“The Co-operative is a community retailer and we are committed to playing a real role in local life.”
