PLEASLEY: Police appeal for witnesses to road traffic collision

Derbyshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help them in their investigation into a serious road traffic collision.

A 31-year-old man is in hospital with life threatening injuries as a result of the collision on the A617 Common Lane in Pleasley on 16th October.

Police are asking any witnesses to get in touch. The collision took place around 6.45pm on Wednesday 16th October.

It involved a 31-year-old man, who was driving a blue VW Golf, and a 35-year-old man, who was driving a black Ford Focus.

Police are particularly keen to talk to the driver of a white van who may have witnessed the collision.

Inspector Kirby said: “Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the collision or vehicles prior to the collision is urged to contact police on 101.”
