Police appeal after Hucknall man assaulted

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in which a 44-year-old man was threatened and pushed after being asked for a light for a cigarette.

A man, thought to be about 25-years-old, approached the victim and verbally abused him. He then walked off. Nothing was taken.

The assault took place in Ruffs Drive, Hucknall, at about 12.50am on 18th May.

The offender was white, about 5ft 8in tall and of a skinny build. He had short brown hair and was wearing a wine-coloured hooded top, with a white cord and a Slazenger logo on the front.
