Police appeal to find driver of a car who fled the scene of a Hucknall Road crash which left a taxi driver with serious injuries

Nottinghamshire police are appealing to locate the driver of a car involved in a two car collision on Hucknall Road - which left a taxi driver with serious injuries.

Police were called following reports of a two vehicle collision.

Police were called at 3.34am on Sunday, July 22 following reports of a two vehicle collision.

A man who was driving a taxi was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre with serious injuries. A second person was also treated for minor injuries.

A police spokesman said: "The driver of a black Seat Ibiza which was involved in the collision left the scene.

"Did you see someone running from the scene of the crash? If anyone has any information please contact police on 101 with incident 165 of 22 July 2018."
