POLICE appeal for help after teenager robbed at knifepoint on Hucknall High Street

A teenager was robbed at knifepoint in Hucknall town centre while he waited for a lift home.

The 17 year-old victim had left a shop in High Street and turned to walk to Albert Street when he was approached from behind by a man at about 6.30pm on Friday 29th November.

The man, who was dressed in black and had his face and head covered, demanded money from the victim’s wallet, while threatening him with a small kitchen knife.

He then made off down High Street with a small amount of cash.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything unusual, the robbery or remembers seeing the offender running away to get in touch by calling 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
