Bulwell and Clifton will be closed from Monday 12th January, Broxtowe and Olllerton from Monday 26th January, Hucknall and St Anne’s in Nottingham will close from Monday 2nd February, and on the same day Sutton Police Station will reduce its opening hours, opening 10am to 6pm. Oxclose Lane will close from Monday 16th February.

In a statement Nottinghamshire Police said: “We are committed to providing the best service possible to the public and this means putting the right resources in the right place at the right time.

“As such the Force reviewed its police station front counters and the decision has been made to withdraw some of the services at our quieter stations.

“You will, of course, still be able to contact us in a number of different ways, including visiting one of these stations, calling 101, using social media or visiting this website.”

Police say they are also researching the best methods you can use to communicate with them in the future and will launch a survey on the subject shortly.
