Poster will be used with youngsters across UK
Olivia Noon, Emily Ball and Anais Mike, all pupils at Abbey Gates Primary School will see their drawings featured in a new poster campaign from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).
The competition marked the launch of the BBFC’s new website for children, CBBFC and asked youngsters to create illustrations showing their families and friends visiting the cinema.

Hide AdLucy Brett, head of education at the BBFC said: “We launched the poster competition to encourage children to start to recognise what film ratings are suitable for what age groups and we were thoroughly impressed by the standard of all the entries.
“Choosing our winners was really difficult since all the entries were so creative and so many of the drawings showed a really high level of awareness of what age ratings mean and what sort of films are appropriate for children and for older age groups. The poster will be useful for teachers, people running children’s screenings at cinemas and after-school film clubs.”
The new pack includes an easy guide to BBFC age ratings and answers key questions from parents and teachers.
