Rain, sleet and snow showers expected until Friday
A wintry mix of rain, sleet and snow showers are expected throughout the rest of Thursday across Notts, leading to icy stretches on untreated surfaces into Friday morning, according to the Met Office.
The showers will gradually become lighter and restricted overnight. However, some heavier showers of sleet and snow are likely to affect parts.
Snow accumulations of 1-3 cm are possible in places. Due to the showery nature of the flow many places will probably miss the snow.
The public should be aware of the potential for disruption to travel.
