A DEDICATED Hucknall woman is celebrating after completing six years of training to qualify as a solicitor.

REBECCA WARDLE (24), pictured, has always had ambitions of launching a career in the law industry.

Now, after being given crucial support by the Hucknall firm of solicitors, Robert Barber and Son, of Watnall Road, she has passed the final stage of her training.

“It is a great feeling,” said Rebecca, who lives on Rose Flower Grove, off Nottingham Road. “I am delighted to get everything finished. To become a fully-fledged solicitor is a big relief.”

Rebecca hails from Mansfield where she attended All Saints Catholic School, sitting her GCSE exams and completing her A-levels.

She went on to secure a place at Nottingham Trent University where she studied law for three years.

Next Rebecca did a year-long legal-practice course at Nottingham Law School, which she finished in June 2009.

A month later, she landed a two-year training contract with Robert Barber and Son. This has entailed working with more experienced solicitors and shadowing them in their duties while being regularly assessed.

Now she has completed her qualifications and will specialise in the wills and probate area of law. She said: “Robert Barber has been fantastic in the support it has given me and I cannot thank the team enough.” — DISPIC NHUD12-0468-1.
