Violence

Winston Severn 48, of Mayfield Street Kirkby, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. A community order was made with a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement, with £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

Daniel Boulton 25, of Howard Street Sutton, pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty. He also pleaded guilty to damaging a stab-resistant police vest and a radio ear piece. He was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months. The sentence included a curfew requirement for six months with electronic monitoring. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100 and victim surcharge of £115, with costs of £85.

Kyle Hollingsworth 25, of Bilborough Road Mansfield appeared after he was convicted at West and Central Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court of assaulting a man by beating him. He was committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months. Offence serious because committed in the workplace against a colleague whilst in drink. He was ordered to pay compensation of £85.

Jack Wood 24, of Harcourt Street, Kirkby pleaded guilty to assaulting a man. A community order was made with a 250 hours unpaid work requirement over the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.

Bradley Young 20, of Topaz Grove Mansfield was found guilty of two counts of assaulting a woman. He was also found guilty of damaging a door. He pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court. He was committed to an overall sentence of 26 weeks in a young offenders institution, given a restraining order and made to pay £115 victim surcharge.

Aaron Kane Eastham 35 of St Andrews Healthcare, Sherwood Oaks Business Park, Mansfield pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman causing actual bodily harm. He was ordered to pay compensation of £1500 and costs of £85.

James Daniel Bacon 37, of Linden Street Mansfield, admitted stealing three bottles of spirits from B&M Bargains. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months. No compensation was ordered as the property was recovered.

Wayne Hart 53, of Outram Street Sutton pleaded guilty to stealing a jar of coffee, two tooth brushes, five mixed alcoholic drinks and five tins of John West tinned salmon worth £25.71 from B&M Bargains. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victims surcharge of £20.

Keith Christopher Collision 48, of Beck Crescent Mansfield pleaded guilty of entering as a trespasser at the Rose and Crown, Sutton where he stole £500 cash and cigarettes of a value unknown. He was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. He was ordered to pay compensation of £638.

Driving

Adrian Cyril H Knight 47, of Poplar Avenue Kirkby admitted driving with a level of 71 mcg in 100 ml his breath exceeding the limit of 35 mcg. He was fined £400, and disqualified from driving for 16 months, with costs of £85.

Philip Alan Needham 57, of Church Road Clipstone Village pleaded guilty to driving with 77 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £350, with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £35.

Gary Smith 33, of Royal Oak Drive Selston admitted driving with 53 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was remanded on unconditional bail until February 7 2017 to consider if there are special reasons for not ordering an endorsement or disqualification.

Drew Todd 18, of Pepper Street, Sutton pleaded guilty to dangerous driving. He was committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 12 months. The defendant must comply with an eight weeks curfew requirement with electronic monitoring, pay a victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for two years.

Bryan Mallinder 66, of Forest Road Sutton, pleaded guilty to causing damage to another car and failing to stop and report the incident. He was fined £100 with £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85.

Rochelle Tomlinson 20, of Sandfield Close Mansfield admitted driving with 51 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was disqualified from driving for 16 months and fined £300 with £85 cost and £30 victim surcharge.

Matthew Paul Berridge 33, of Dale Lane Blidworth admitted driving with 51 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £360, disqualified from driving for 12 months with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £36.

Paul George Day 48, of Ashleigh Avenue Sutton, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. He was fined £461 disqualified from driving for 17 months with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £46.

Neil Parker Hubbard 28, of Appleton Street, Warsop admitted driving with 80 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £390 with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £39. Reason for sentence was significant loss to small business aggravated by record of dishonesty.

Jason Philip Kempin 44 of James Murray Mews Mansfield, pleaded guilty to dishonestly disposing of stolen goods, namely a telescope, power tools and a bicycle He also admitted possession of class B drug amphetamine and to failing to surrender at Mansfield Police station. A six-month community order was made with a drug rehabilitation requirement and he was ordered to pay £85 costs and a victim surcharge of £85.

Russel Tony Stevenson 34, of Woodhouse Road Mansfield admitted damaging a car. He was fined £200, ordered to pay compensation of £592.97, a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

Duane Milnes 29, of Greendale Crescent Clipstone admitted harrassing a woman by making more than 50 messages a day via Facebook messenger and texts and unwanted phone calls. A restraining order and community order was made with a 50 hours unpaid work requirement costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £85.

Levi Christie Stafford 19, of Markham Close Ollerton admitted using threatening behaviour. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months with victim surcharge of £20 and victim surcharge of £20.

Anthony Fidler 36, of Stone Cross Court Mansfield pleaded guilty to using threatening abusive or insulting words or behaviour to a man. He was committed to prison for 12 weeks. Offence so serious because offence on fellow employee threat caused fear. There were children and vulnerable people around. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100 and £85 costs.

Christopher John Coakley 26, of Palace Gardens Clipstone admitted causing suffering to a female Lionhead rabbit, a protected species, by failing to investigate and address the cause of its poor body condition. An order was made to disqualify him in respect of coneys and birds from owning them, keeping them and participating in keeping them for a period of life. He was fined £200, with costs of £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30.

Kalvinder Sohal 44, of Chesterfield Road North Mansfield pleaded guilty to two seperate counts of selling unsafe food under food safety and hygiene regulations at Nisa on Chesterfield Road North . He was fined £1,400 with costs of £1518.21 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £140.
