Driving offences

John Benjamin Beddoe (71), of Danvers Drive, Mansfield, drink driving. Drove a vehicle with 48mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Disqualified from driving for 36 months, fined £450 and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £45 and costs of £85.

Harry Jones (18), of Milford Crescent, Mansfield, drink driving. Drove a vehicle with 59mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £150, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Keely Louise Brown (39), of Stone Bank, Mansfield. Failed to provide specimen of breath for analysis. Disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £375, victim surcharge of £37, costs of £85.

Theft

Konstantis Perovs (40), of Layton Avenue, Mansfield, theft. Stole protein powder worth £49.99 from Boots, committed under period of a suspended sentence for burglary. Committed to Nottingham Crown Court for sentence.

Richard Derek Place (36), of Derby Street, Mansfield, theft of a digital camera and possession of class B drugs whilst subject to order of conditional discharge. Committed to prison for 10 weeks suspended for nine months, drug rehabilitation requirement of nine months, victim surcharge £80, costs £85.

Assault

Oliver Kieran McCormack (21), of Lake Avenue, Ladybrook, Mansfield, assault. Two offences of assault, one involved kick to the head the other substantial punches to the head. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Curfew requirement of 16 weeks with electronic monitoring. Unpaid work requirement of 175 hours.

Had in his possession a smoke flare during the period of a designated sporting event contrary to the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985. Fined £375, victim surcharge of £38, costs £85. Football banning order for 3 years, to surrender passport as directed by police when regulated matches played outside UK.

David George Soanes (76), of Fielden Avenue, Mansfield. Using threatening abusive or insulting words or behaviour, failing to surrender at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. Discharged conditionally for one year, victim surcharge of £15, costs of £35.
