Rope rescue in Forest Town
Firecrews from Edwinstowe, Highfields and a specialist rescue unit from Tuxford were called to a Forest Town cul-de-sac yesterday after a man was found collapsed down a bank.
The incident happened at around 2.50pm in Blenheim Close, when the 54-year-old man was discovered collapsed.
A specialist rope rescue was carried out by firefighters and the casualty was taken to hospital, a fire service spokesman said.
His condition is not known at this stage.
