Rotary club given regional thumbs up
The Rotary Club of Warsop, Shirebrook and District’s senior vice-president John Welsh gave a warm welcome to district governor Peter Moralee and assistant governor Eric Thompson on their recent visit.
The rotary organisation has some 54,000 members across the UK and each local group is part of a bigger regional hub. which in this area is numbered and known as 1220.
“The 1220 delegates strive to ensure best practice is observed and they were particularly pleased with the way we have worked with the Big Lottery in Warsop,” said Welsh.
