Samworth hosts an athletics contest for primary schools
Primary School students from the Mansfield area have taken part in an exciting athletics competition at Samworth Church Academy.
Students taking part were from Abbey Primary School, Berry Hill Primary, Wynndale Primary and Oak Tree Primary School.
The events included obstacle races, long jump, javelin, speed bounce and relay races. Oak Tree Lane Primary School were overall winners on the day.
Samworth teacher David Hunt said: “It was a brilliant atmosphere from the start.”
