School’s out for Meden students

School was out for Meden pupils when they got on their glad rags for the annual prom.

The prom took place at the West Retford Hotel and saw youngsters at the Warsop school arriving in style - with a procession of limousines and classic cars ferrying students to the party.

Students Ryan Herbert and Georgia Hooley were prom king and queen at the event, which took place on 26th June.

On the night, students enjoyed a barbecue, strawberries and fruit cocktails.

A school spokesman told Chad: “Students arrived in chauffeur-driven Mercedes, sports cars with their own red carpet and even a big orange American truck.

“They all looked amazing in their gowns and suits.”
