‘Severe damage’ caused to Annesley Hall after two-floor blaze
Firefighters say the huge blaze at Grade II listed Annesley Hall over the weekend has caused ‘severe damage’ to the building.
Crews received ‘multiple’ calls at 01.37am on Saturday 16th May, reporting the historic site was ablaze.
In total, six appliances attended the scene during the night and two spent the morning damping down.
Firefighters used four jets and an aerial ladder platform to bring the blaze under control.
The stop message was received at 05.36am.
