A torrential downpour in Nottinghamshire left some roads completely underwater last night (October 6).

Pictures sent in by readers show flash floods caused by the thunderstorm, which began in the late afternoon.

Cars could be seen making their way through several feet of water on the roads at Kilton Hill, Worksop.
