SOMERCOTES: Man admits killing former girlfriend
A man has pleaded guilty to killing his former girlfriend in Somercotes in September last year.
Cornelius Brown (pictured), 23, pleaded guilty to the murder of Jade Riley-Ward at Nottingham Crown Court today (Friday, 15th November).
Ms Riley-Ward was found dead by emergency services at her home on Burke Drive on 22nd September, 2012.
A post mortem examination revealed the 30-year-old died from multiple stab wounds.
Brown, of Greenhill Lane, Riddings, will be sentenced on 20th December.
