Southwell: A Victorian Christmas

Join Workhouse staff and paupers at the National Trust property as they prepare for the Yuletide festivities.

Guests can sing along to Christmas carols with the pauper choir and enjoy seasonal music supplied by local band, Essentially Brass.

You can also listen to stories performed by The Workhouse storytellers in various locations inside the atmospheric building.

The shop will be open for last-minute Christmas shopping, while hot drinks and mince pies will be available and children can have a go at Victorian craft activities.

Tickets for the event cost £4 for adults and £1 for children and need to be purchased in advance and pre-paid as numbers are limited.
