Students raise £6,000 for aid agency

Youngsters at a Mansfield school have presented a cheque to a Catholic charity for £6,000 after youngsters raised the cash from enterprise activities.

The cheque was presented to the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development (CAFOD) by Year 11 and 12 students at All Saints’ Catholic School, in Broomhill, Lane last week after youngsters raised the cash through a range of activities.

CAFOD is an international aid agency working to alleviate poverty and suffering in developing countries.
