Sweet summer treat at senior tea dance
Strawberries and dancing were on the menu at an annual tea dance for senior citizens.
The annual strawberry tea dance for the Hucknall Senior Forum took place at the Watnall Road Community Centre, in Hucknall.
Thirty-seven members were treated to a splendid tea of strawberry and cream, scones and strawberry jam and bread and butter,with tea and coffee followed by sequence dancing for the members.
Hucknall county councillor John Wilmott helped to serve tea to members. He said: “This was a lovely event for the Hucknall pensioners and a big thank you must go to the volunteers.”
