Teams wanted for hospice six-aside challenge

Ambitions Personnel, in Leeming Street, is organising the event on Thursday, 26th September and aims to raise £1,000 for the John Eastwood Hospice - which is based at the Kings Mill Hospital site.

The tournament is set to take place at All Saints’ Catholic School, in Broomhill Lane, between 6-9pm.

Rob Carter from Ambitions Personnel said: “So far this year we have raised £4,500 for local charities and the Mansfield chosen charity is the John Eastwood Hospice.

“With around 24 companies and the best part of 200 attendees, we hope to have a great evening, but we are still reaching out to local companies to come and join us. “

The cost to enter is £5 per player but Rob said that companies who take part can donate more to the charity if they wish.

There will be a range of prizes awarded throughout the evening, including best dressed team and man of the match, as well as trophies for the winner, runners-up and the traditional wooden spoon, organisers said.
