Teen sisters are t-win it to win it
The 17-year-olds respectively won the Miss Photographic and Miss Voice awards in this year’s Miss Mansfield.
That has encouraged the year 12 Samworth Church Academy students - both studying for the same A levels in science, arts, sport and finance - to enter Miss Teen Great Britain.

Both are delighted to have received notification from organisers that they have made the semi-final line-up.
They will now to upload profiles online in the hope that judges will then select them for the finals, held in Blackpool in August.
An interview accounts for 50 per cent of the total score and entrants are encouraged to raise money for charities.
“It’s great to have our places in the semi-finals confirmed - and we’re both hoping we can make it through to Blackpool,” said Samantha.

“We enjoyed doing the Miss Mansfield competition together after being encouraged to enter by a previous Miss Mansfield and that’s why we’re giving this a go.”
Samantha raised money for Leukaemia Research and Kimberly for MacMillan Cancer Support in entering Miss Mansfield.
They hope to continue their fund-raising efforts into next year, in between their studies.
Kimberly added: “I’m keen to get into the world of fashion and this is a useful stepping stone for me.
“I’m in it to win it, but there’s no rivalry between us. It’s nice to have each other’s support.”
