The men in their late 20s have targeted groups of youngsters for their mobile phones in Kirkby parks.

Nina Bianco said daughter Beth - pupil at Ashfield School - was shaken by the nasty incident at Southwell Park last night (Wednesday) shortly before 7pm.

She said; “Beth was at Greeny Park while her friends were playing football. She was sat on the floor looking after their mobile phones when men men walked over to her.

“She had two phones under her legs and another at the side. The men snatched the one phone and bent down in front of her and said “Are you going to give me those phones or what?”.

“He then pushed her around the throat and winded her. They then took the other phones.

“It’s just disgusting. Beth was terrified and now she is scared to go out on her own again. She said she is too scared and wants me to take her places.”

Police have also confirmed a second theft after the men targeted another group of young boys.

They took five phones in total, including a gold iPhone 5s and two iPhone 4s.

One of the men is described as white, wearing a black hoody, around 25 years old with a brown beard with blond flecks.

The second man wore a grey hoody and jeans.

Nina added: “People need to know about this to make their children are safe.”
