Travel card fares going up on trams and buses
After several years without a price increase, Nottingham Express Transit and Trent Barton say it is now necessary because of rising costs.
A single-fare tram trip for Robin Hood pay-as-you-go card-holders has risen to £1.80, with the day cap for trams up to £3.50 and the day cap for trams and buses up to £4.30. Cash season tickets have increased to £4.80 for adults and £2.90 for children.
Mango users will see the cost of single journeys on the tram increase by 10p to £1.80, while the adult day cap has gone up to £3.80 and the seven-day cap is up by £1 to £17.
