Vans targetted by thieves in crime spree

Thieves have stolen tools and equipment from a string of works vans in Hucknall.

In total there were seven incidents reported between Wednesday 25th March and Wednesday 1st April.

Overnight on 25th March, hearing aid calibration equipment was stolen from a Skoda Octavia parked on Robin Bailey Way. Also on the same night in Robin Bailey Way a projector was stolen from the boot of an Audi A6.

On Saturday 28th March between 1.30am and 1pm in Maple Leaf Way, a works van was entered and a laptop, fleece jacket and a phone holder were stolen.

Two sets of wheel trims were stolen from Ford vehicles on the forecourt of a commercial property on Portland Road, during the evening of Saturday 28 March.

Bosch drills, a laser level, a grinder, and a chop saw were stolen from a Fiat Doblo Van overnight on Monday 30th March at the Premier Inn.

Overnight of the 30th March in The Grove, Annesley an attempt was made to break into a Ford Transit Connect, but nothing stolen.

Between 5pm on Tuesday 31st March and 6.30am on Wednesday 1at April in Shortwood Avenue, a circular saw, grinder, SDS drill, Combi drill, two 18v Makita batteries were stolen from a Citroen Relay van.
