It’s the latest craze that’s been sweeping Nottinghamshire’s playgrounds, but whether you’re a novice or expert with loom bands, you can pick up top tips at free workshops over the summer.
Hosted by Glitz in the Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton, they will take place within a currently empty shop unit (opposite Warren James, jewellers) on Saturday 26th July and Saturday 2nd August from 11am – 3pm.
Running in half-hourly slots, they’re ideal for anyone wishing to check out the latest craze, have a go, or learn advanced techniques.
The sessions will be completely free of charge, with loom bands, boards and accessories available - and several young people to give expert instruction. Whatever you make you can take home with you!
Places must be booked in advance by popping in to the Glitz Stand in Idlewells (find them outside Ryman/Holland & Barrett) or via its Facebook page.
During the week between 26th July and 2nd August, the Loom School will be set up for casual use with a more limited amount of free bands.
