Village residents show off their horticulture skills

The event included 61 separate classes of exhibit, including runner beans, carrots, wine, various types of flowers, baking, photography and even wellington boot designs.

A number of trophies were awarded, including The Samuel Gibson Cup to B & J Miller for best beetroot, the Mike Marshall Trophy to S Compton for favourite pot plant and the Harry Warren Trophy to M Singleton for best dressed onion.
