Volunteers needed for Nottinghamshire libraries’ Summer Reading Challenge

Libraries across the county, including Hucknall and Bulwell, are looking for volunteers to help run the Summer Reading Challenge this year.

Each summer the library service launch a challenge to youngsters during the school summer holiday in a bid to keep up their reading over the long break.

In order for the scheme to run, helpers are required with training and support given to candidates.

If you can spare a minimum of six hours during July and August andenjoy helping children with arts and crafts and reading then this could be the role for you.
