Warsop and Shirebrook: Six figures in sight for rotary draw

The Christmas prize draw for the Rotary Club of Warsop, Shirebrook and District is closing in on £100,000 raised since its inception in 1986.

This year’s total of £4,300 took the overall amount raised since the idea was suggested by rotarian Alan Kelly is just £3,000 short of the magical six figures.

A total of 17 organisations took part this time, with the draw itself taking place at the John Fretwell Centre on Wednesday 4th December.

Tickets are purchased from the club and then sold on to friends and family - a successful format that has remained unchanged.
